Mural Unveiled at Stage 05

A brand new mural of has now been unveiled on the southern wall of Hurtle&Co. Stage 05 facing Gilles Street (best viewed from John's Lane, behind the Astor Hotel). By talented local artist, Lisa King, this work celebrates the life of a young David Bowie, having depicted the man behind the stage persona.

This is latest piece of artwork is the third mural to adorn Hurtle Square by Lisa. The first, located on the eastern side of Imagine Halifax (connected to Hurtle&Co. Stage 02), shows John Lennon and the second, located on the southern wall of Hurtle&Co. Stage 03, exhibits Freddie Mercury.
